We know that not every support environment suits every person. That’s why we created the Sensory Sensitive Program.

A small, calm group setting designed for participants who feel safest with predictability, patience, and 1:1 support.

Here, every day is structured around individual goals, sensory-friendly activities, and routines that reduce overwhelm and build trust. It’s not just support — it’s a soft place to land, and a gentle space to grow.

What To Expect

The Sensory Sensitive Program runs every weekday in a small, structured group environment with built-in time for individualised support.

Each participant works toward their own goals with the support of consistent staff and predictable routines. Days are designed around what each person needs — whether that’s sensory play, communication skills, increased fine and gross motor skill development, life skills and community engagement.

Activities may include:

→ Sensory-friendly craft, music, and movement

→ Life skill development (cooking, cleaning, routine-building)

→ Community access in low-stimulation settings

→ Personal development guided by allied health recommendations

→ Social interaction in supported, non-pressured ways

Why Families Love This Program

This program was made for the participants who don’t fit into a noisy, fast-paced group environment — and who shouldn’t have to. Here’s what makes it different:

Nothing is rushed. Nothing is forced. We go at your pace — and meet you where you’re at.

Ready to find the right fit?

Let’s talk about whether the Sensory Sensitive Program is the right space for you or your loved one. We’re here to help – gently, respectfully, and at your pace.

What families are saying

“Love Saircare. Have found you all passionate and caring and have never doubted Oscar’s care with any of your support workers. He has loved every program and activity and every carer he has met through your service.”
